I like to spend a lot of my time outdoors. I grew up skateboarding and a little bit of surfing, but lately I have a new joy in hiking. My favorite trails to hike in San Diego are Cowles Mountain and Torrey Pines National Park. I also really enjoy camping. I used to go camping every summer with my family as a child. I enjoy the outdoors so much because it allows me to take a break from the ever evolving world of technology that we live in.
As you know, I am also a musician. I only play drums in all of the musical projects I am involved in, but throughout my journey I have taught myself how to play several other instruments. I play guitar, bass, ukulele, and banjo. I am currently trying to pursue piano, but I find it a lot more difficult than every other instrument I have learned. I am a huge advocate for learning how to play music and encourage all walks of life to try to pick up an instrument and play. While I will always enjoy playing music and the outdoors, I take everything very seriously  in order to grow. I take music and life like a lyric from my favorite Mob Deep song which says "Life is a gamble, we scramble for money
I might crack a smile, but ain't a damn thing funny." - Mob Deep.
